How do I log-in to the NSPA website?

Only members can log-in to the website. If you forgot your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link below the sign-in window and follow the instructions. If you experience any further issues, please contact us.

NSPA provides benefits for scholarship providers, institutions, individuals, and organizations that want to do business with our membership. Find more information here.

What is the NSPA Membership Application Process?
Individuals, scholarship providers, colleges or universities, or other business entities interested in membership in NSPA must complete the NSPA Membership Application Form, as well as provide any follow-up information requested by NSPA.  Failure to provide complete information will result in a determination of ineligibility. Applicants will receive confirmation of receipt of a completed application, as well as confirmation of time frame for review and decision. Completed applications will be reviewed by NSPA staff. Once approved, membership dues will be processed with the payment information provided or a check request will be made. Any prospective or current member whose membership is denied or revoked will be provided a written explanation of NSPA’s decision.

What is a scholarship for higher education?
A scholarship for higher education is financial aid that does not have to be repaid, awarded to a student for the purpose of attending a post-secondary institution. Scholarships take on many forms with identified and meaningful eligibility criteria and these can include academics, financial need, student demographics, geographic, community involvement, overcoming adversity, athletic ability, career choice, etc. 

Does NSPA offer scholarships?
NSPA does not give scholarships or work directly with students. We are a professional association that serves professionals working in scholarship programs.  For information on how to best find a scholarship, please click here

How do I start a scholarship program?
NSPA offers several resources to help our members start a scholarship program. One of those resources is our Scholarship Program Toolkit which provides comprehensive advice and guidance on starting and managing scholarship programs.  Other resources include our professional development webinars, learning circles, expert articles, and the member resource library.

NSPA does not offer consulting services, but we can connect you with consultants depending on your needs.
